Hi gents,

I've finished a pair of 1/2400 British M-class monitors recently. Hope you like them.

My next plan is a pair of Humber-class monitors, which made a fame in the Battle of Rufiji Delta against SMS Konigsberg.

Hey, before you paint those, can you make a mold to cast some – doh!

I wish I had more time for scratchbuilding. Those are neat.

Nice! Much better than my 1/2400 Fusee class armored gunboats.

Fantastic work again Chen! Beautifully done.

Not only is the scratch building superb but I really like your painting style, especially your bases. Any chance of some step-by-step photos of the painting process?

Best wishes,

Nick

Thanks to you all for the nice comments.

Hi @Yellow Admiral,
You see, I live in this corner of the world where nobody else is interested in 1/2400 scale ships. And I have no experience of making cast-able moulds at all… so actually I have no idea if it'd be good go further than simply making something fun for myself.

And hi @Nick,
As for the bases, I've once posted a step-by-step thread showing my process,in which you might be interested: TMP link

Best wishes,
Chen

Another fantastic and inspiring project, Chen. I'm in awe of th detail you get into your ships. I guess it's all about patience. I have a tendency to want to rush ahead and get my scratch builds finished so I can game with them. I agree with Nick, your paint job is great.
