EWM to produce some of Dan Taylor Models in white metal in 20mm Dan Taylor makes very nice figures, models and buildings, he is a gifted sculptor. He also writes excellent books, Villlers-Bocage through the lens is one of his, a really nice and very interesting man to talk with. EWM started making resin moulds and casting his finely detailed figures and models a while back. We now make and cast many of his new products. I like the work Dan does very much and so Dan has agreed EWM can recast some of his figures and models in white metal for the war gaming market. I hope you will agree this is a good thing for our war gaming hobby. I'm pleased to show you the first model and some sample figures for future. There are loads more to work on still, very exciting times.

link The first model is a BSA M20 motorcycle with standing Dispatch rider awaiting orders. Cast in white metal on bases, the motor cycle has separate handle bars and stand but that's all that needs to be fitted. Designed by Dan Taylor, these are cast and sold under Licence by EWM.

link Posed with an AB for comparison. The AB figure is mounted on a seat so a little bit raised, but it's the only seated figure I could find.
link I expect to create more of Dans models in a war gaming format. I will add pictures as this range of late war models develops. To see more pictures and comment, go to link To buy go to : link Enjoy Paul T@EWM |

you get a link and no picture! I just looked at the first few images via link and suddenly noticed that they, those few anyway, are all "https" URLs. Suppose that is a clue? BTW, great stuff, the last few months I have been becoming increasingly interested in The Early War ( and SCW ) by being exposed to the EWM images. Wish I could experience them first hand at shows, etc, difficult from the USA's "Left Coast", however. |
