I think these were 15mm. Can't seem to ever recall who makes them, or what their name is. They are apparently supposed to be a very advanced alien race (kind of a walking plant like life-form), which: - are rather tall (were painted gray if I recall), - look like dead trees, - have at least three eye stalks at the top of their bodies in an orange, or red-orange color, extending out horizontally a little, - and also have their lungs (if that's what they were) on the outsides of their bodies, around their mid-section. IIRC, they are a tri-lateral, or three-sided species (not 100% sure about that). Anyone have a clue what I'm talking about, or know who makes them and what they're called? |

Or the Vornids, from Khurasan?

No, neither of those, sadly. IIRC, they have a root-like base, or "feet", then a thinnish stalk up to the mid-section, which gets wider (that's where the lungs/ribs are – or the alien equivalent of those – they look rather like the fins of a fish, I think), then thinner again towards the top, which broadens out to at the top of the creature, where the orange-ish/red eyes are. I think the creatures (two in the photo), were a light gray color, or perhaps a light lavender. Supposedly, they're an ancient race, of advanced aliens, if I recall correctly. They might have been produced by Khurasan, or some other, smaller company, a number of years ago, when they were first released. |

It sounds like they could be the Elder Things from this TMP post. TMP link

Yep, that's them. Five eyes and arms instead of three. Oh well, after a number of years, I guess that's pretty close. Thanks for the link. |

I see those are listed in some blog on 'Lost Minis', and Roebeast seems to have gone off TMP, but maybe he could be coaxed into some of those. I know *I* am impressed! Doug |

Yea, I was off a bit. Always thought those fins/arms were lungs. Alien biology (assuming that is the correct term for these) isn't my strong suit. |

Those minis are still up on Roebeast's blog as being for sale link It might not hurt to send him a message first, but if you order and he doesn't ship, you can dispute it through PayPal. |

I am 100% not interested in Cthullu stuff but those are absolutely wonderful beyond "not-humans in a funny mask" alien designs! WOW! |

I said: Are they lost minis? Roebeast: Not really lost as much as never really produced. One of my many projects that I'd love to get going but just haven't done. Are you interested in them? I'll give him a link to this thread. Doug |

Hi everyone, I'm still on this plane of existence, more or less. If anyone is interested in my 15mm Elder Things I still have a few of them available. Message me at TMP or email hellbox45@hotmail. com. Thanks! |
