The new Eldritch Empires Elder Thing minis are now released! These are 15mm scale and come in 8 parts. They are sold in packs of three minis for $12.00 USD US. Check out Roebeast's Magical House of Sunshine for purchasing info and assembly instructions:

Very nice!

Those are definitely alien-looking, aliens, for an excellent change of pace.

Hope they don't get mistaken for fruit trees though, since that would be a bad way to start off with alien relations, no doubt.

Just ordered a couple of packs of these. Am interested to see how well they go with my Khurasan Cnidarian Overlords, size-wise, as part of a methane-breathing faction (in the style of C.J.Cherryh's Chanur series).

I have an old one of these, get the pun?
Stands just at 3"

How tall are these

roebeast4513 May 2012 12:51 p.m. PST

23mm from the bottom to the top.

The beasties are great! Might even make odd alien foliage or animals.

Who sells that scale tool!

Cool, will grab some if I catch up from this trip.
20 Wedding Ann.
In Las Vegas, my wallet is screaming.

The large one I have also has wings, will post when home.

Eli, it was made by the short lived Mississinewa Miniatures but invented by Jeff Rodman of Fortress Figures. I think he might release a new version in the near future. It's very handy.

Bummer….:(

I would love to see one that could be attached to a regular key chain.

Now we needs some variations of shoggoths and they can come with a little bonus blind cannibal penguin.

My Elder Things arrived today – excellent service from Roebeast's Magical House of Sunshine! And what neat models they are too. I'm looking forward to painting them up soon

Set ordered, thanks!

roebeast4530 May 2012 11:16 a.m. PST

Set shipped, thank you!

I just got a restock of the Elder Things and am hoping to have the Yithians ready by next week.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered them so far. I'd really like to see how other folks paint them so please let me know if you post them online.

Here is my 25mm version from many Blue Moons ago.

I will use it as the Mama, to the these.

:)

Lee, those will work well for many things including the Weedies from the ICFBTS – Reel to Real so that should be pretty cool. Where did you get the 28mm one? I actually sold out of 15mm and went to larger (and much smaller) scales.

Lfseeney30 May 2012 6:41 p.m. PST

Got that one like 15 years ago maybe, part of a CoC set.

roebeast4530 May 2012 7:51 p.m. PST

That Elder Thing was sculpted by the legendary Bob Murch who currently runs Pulp Figures. He did some great stuff with his Cthulhu sculpts.

You can still pick these up from RAFM:

Ah I enjoy many of his line in my own personal collection. Hes a good guy.

Mutant Q03 Mar 2013 8:28 p.m. PST

Bump!

Any news on future 15mm Lovecraftian goodness?

Murgh Bpurn15 Mar 2013 2:46 p.m. PST

Yeah, with Achtung! Cthulhu coming out, I want more of these!

deflatermouse21 Nov 2017 4:04 a.m. PST

Does anyone know whatever happened to these?
