Fighting has erupted again between the Azeri muslims and Armenian christians in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. Both sides are armed with ex-Soviet weaponry and aren't afraid to use them. link |

The fighting between them started just before the final collapse of the Soviet Union. I remember seeing news reports with columns of T-34s on the roads. In one report that I just got a glimpse of I swear that I saw some T-34/76s. |

Divers working offshore. Two of them were Azeri special forces when they weren't trying to earn a living. |
