Hello, I am getting into ww1 west front in 10 mm. I have orders in at pendraken and the warstore. I was wondering if there were other makers besides pendraken for 10 mm ww1 figures, buildings, entrenchments, wire etc. also I am looking for websites about ww1 gaming and especially 10 mm gaming. Thanks

The problem can be spotting those that will fit together.

10mm can range in size from around 11mm (feet-head) up to nearly 14mm. Pendraken are nearer the bottom of that range and Kallistra near the top.

About 2008 I bought Pendraken WW1 figs for the Eastern front and last year I bought Kallistra for the first few months of the Western front – French v.s. Germans.

Kallistra is definitely bigger, especially cavalry. I like both companies.

Irregular. Smallish though.
Go for Pendraken and the vandyck. Some irregular guns carts etc.

I just received some early war Germans from vandyke models. They are outstanding, the detail is great and so are the poses. I am getting more Germans and the Belgians soon!! They are just slightly bigger than my pendraken figs but will work nicely.
