I'm new to 10mm. I know of Pendraken. Does anyone else make 10mm WWI? Thanks

Irregular and Magister Militum. Kalistra and Minifigs for closer to 12mm.

I've been building some forces using Pendraken and I'm generally quite happy with their ranges but they do have some shortages in their Belgian line. A mate is doing the French and he has managed to work in some of the FPW figures in the gaps that he doesn't do in WW1. Not perfect but workable.

Figures are good and easy to paint, you can make them fairly detailed but can also get away with a fairly basic colour scheme – they are forgiving in that respect.

The Kallistra figures are good but much too large to go with Pendraken and take as long as a 15mm to paint. I didn't find them at all forgiving or easy to paint – though they do come out very nicely, given time.

Irregular are varied, the Belgian dog MG carts are good and work with Pendraken, as do most of the range. Generally the Infantry are better than the cavalry and some of the artillery is quite good.

Van Dyck Miniatures make a limited range of early war Germans and Belgians, including a Minerva armored car.

Arrowhead do some great tanks in 1/144. Although 1/144 is often considered to be closer to 12mm figures than 10mm it may be worth trying for yourself to see if they work out visually with whatever figures you go for.

Second on the Van Dyck miniatures. Some of the best sculpts I have ever seen at that scale.

The Van Dyck stuff is lovely but the P&P is horrendous
