Hi I am knew to AWI and I have received an order of 10mm AWI figures. Anyone know a good online site for unit organisations and uniforms?

Look on the Pendraken forum site, not a guide but there are some great examples of units and uniforms to follow.

Careful of that chart, it has a few errors and oddities about it – though perhaps in 10mm it may not matter as much.

Tarleton's Quarter Blog and his resources links should get you started.

The Mollo book is your best quick guide. Some like to point out it is inaccurate in some ways but I'd overlook that for the sheer volume of material at a reasonable price. Unless you're painting very large figures with detailed accuracy, they for gaming and close is more than good enough for almost all games.

I suggest you use Mollo/McGregor for the Crown forces and Lefferts for those of Congress; both books have some issues with whichever is "the other side" due to lack of access to information at the time (and subsequent research). Either will do for the German and French troops, as I think they pretty much agree.

Any doubts, come back on here – there are loads of folk willing to help.
