Anyone know who might be carrying the Perry metals at Colours?

Stuart at Great Escape Games03 Sep 2015 5:23 a.m. PST

Yes, Dave Thomas is there. He and Phil are lovely chaps and stock the full range.

Another vote for Dave Thomas!

You might want to double check with the organisers, as Dave Thomas isn't on the trader lists and wasn't on the floorplan we got sent out either.

There's a Colours thread on TMP here with trader lists: TMP link

Wasn't DT one of the traders who had stuff stolen at the last Colours? If so that may have a bearing on him not being there this time.

No, Dave isn;t going. At the moment it looks as if I won't be as well, having been mucked about by the organisers

There's been a few traders hit with thefts unfortunately, Dave Thomas last time, Graham's Wuerkshoppe had a large FoW boxset taken a few years back, we had about £60.00 GBP worth of paints taken one year as well.

"He and Phil are lovely chaps", indeed and the taking's at the gay bars of Newbury will be badly hit as well ;-D

Hee hee, you know it Elpass…

Dave (or Daev) – you are kidding me right! Caliver, not at a show.

Shurely shome mishtake

No, I can confirm this. We couldn't reconcile a problem over the pitch.

Wargames Foundry will be attending the show.

For books we'll have Anita's, Dave Lanchester and Paul Meekins.

As for bars, I'd like to think that the town can accommodate any persuasion. There's also the Newbury Beer Festival over at Northcroft:

newburyrealale.co.uk

They have a Facebook page, and the main web site graphic doesn't do the festival justice; my 2014 catalogue lists 137 ales, 91 ciders and 21 perries. Some of the pages are still stuck together. I don't think you all appreciate what we give up to bring you Colours.

He's not doing Border Reiver either unfortunately.
