Here's the next stand. There will be a command base to follow and then a unit of four bases of Huscarls that will stand to the front of the four Ceorl bases.

following with interest, as one day i too want to put on a wargame based on Hastings. I'm looking forward to seeing the set up and to knowing which rules you're using, how many players, etc…

Me too! Thus far I haven't settled upon a set of rules though I do have a few in mind. I'll be buying a copy of Soldiers of God at Partizan to try out and I have a couple of other ideas to fall back on too. The terrain and scenery still needs to be made and that's something that will be done when I've finally got all my moving done onto my new house.
