I have "Austrian Grenadiers and Infantry 1788-1816" by Osprey but cannot see any good instructions on how to paint rear of bearskins. It looks from casting like their bag was tied over to side, if so, is it all in facing color, or pom pom in yellow with black spot? That would be my educated guess. |

The usual Austrian bag arrangement was facing color with button color (i.e., white or yellow) lacing. |

The braid was always white. |
