Here with 2 28mm Perry miniatures figures for scale.
As with our new defence set 1, when you hear for 20mm and 28mm, it sounds wrong, but it works as you see for your self.

Paul,

A few questions;

What is the dimensions of the positions footprint?

Are they both the same or mirror images?

I like the earlier infantry defensive positions but as I base my figures on multiple bases they won't fit in :( The new ones shouldn't be a problem :) I'm thinking of painting them up as assorted rubble etc. for VBCW, rather than plain earth or grass.

Regards, Dave

Would love to see your painting guide – always admire the trench systems you display at shows, but I would be afraid of mine looking nothing like yours.

Hi Marc,
That's very kind thank you. Really, they are easy to paint. I'm no painter and I get them looking as they do. The secret is Sepia wash. Base colour, loads of wash, let it dry. Then dry brush lighter colures. Job done. Honest!
Same for these models.
Will get some thing posted in the new year.

I've just received a set of those WWI trenches and can vouch for the quality of them even though they are not painted yet. Equally impressive is the quality of customer care from EWM: fast and friendly!

My wife bought these for me and was really impressed (not easy to do!) by the service and the way the order was handled as she was obviously not used to buying wargames stuff on line, and she's going to post a Thank You on your face book page this week
