A while back Scott Rudy Nelson posted that there were some new owners for the Modelers Mart Frontier line. Has anyone heard anything recently about this?

I have been reading about these rumors for years. I will believe this when I see it.

Same here, wish it was true and they were available again!

Gave up a long time ago. Too bad.

It's too bad because they are in what I consider the "ideal scale" for TSATF gaming, "true 25mm". Perfectly compatible with Ral Partha, they are also beautiful sculpts.
It would be nice to see them come back but I am not holding my breath.

I have long suspected they were in the hands of a sinister cabal, only producing them for members. grin

You need to join the Stonecutters, John, to get access.

No, I mean the *real* Stonecutters.

Well I have sent a message through facebook to Scott Rudy Nelson and hopefully he will contact me back and share what he knows. I have seen some Frontier minis for sale on Noble Knight so my guess would be that Rudy sold the ones he had to them. Someone has to have the rights and molds for these.

Bashytubits: please keep us informed.

I take it nothing ever happened with this?

The new has not decided if she will continue production or sell the company. I have been taking stuff to conventions for her for about two years. Some ranges are good but others have holes. For example there are a lot of Zulus but lack shields. I will talk to her at Recon/Orlando in a few weeks.

Any chance this includes some of the 15mm stuff?

Bashytubits04 Aug 2015 3:12 a.m. PST

Well I have failed to garner any info whatsoever, so who knows if there is anything really going on with this.

God knows, but it wouldn't suprise me if we are having the same discussion next year. Its been going on for so many years that I've forgotten which Frontier range I wanted to buy.

Any word if frontier minatures will be produce again. Have an extensive collection of 25mm Mexican American war figures that I would like to add on to.

I would like some of the Republican Romans in 25mm They were very nice. Many pictures of them in the old Tactica rulebook. Has anyone heard anything new on the status of the company?
