Here are 6mm & 15mm Robots/walkers size comparisons which you should find useful.

Nice comparison photos but don't forget GZG also have a 3mm-6mm range that would also make fine looking small bots for 15mm gaming. :) Zac

The 3mm range has some nice pieces … I've got a few … As well as all of the GW Epic pictured on the link … grin

the GZG GMM-34 can look really nice as a 15mm robot

I ordered some just to copy the idea

and the MODs from Risk:2120 are kinda nice too

TNE2300,

That GZG GMM-34 is definitely one of the first ones I'm going to paint up as a 15mm mule:

I cant find them in the GZG online catalog but they used to do a 3mm-6mm NOT Robotech Veritech in Guardian mech mode i think it was in their Full Thrust range, anyway it could make a cool looking drone in 15mm.
OK found them after a quick Google search, they are not the best photos i have of them but the detail is very good on the actual miniatures: FT-1321 Katana MMCF (Multi-Mode Configurable Fighter) in Fighter mode pack of six. £1.80 GBP

Z,

In your robotic ruminations, did you also consider the 1/72 scale robots from the old Starguard! line from Revirsco? Lots of bots to choose from, really, and IMHO the robot soldiers simply rescale into heavy humanoid warbots while the larger heavy robot soldiers work out as small mechs/larger still humanoid warbots…

Thanks all , some very great input here… looks I have more minis to buy….
No, BlackWidowPilot , I didn't even know they existed, just Googled them, as you say there lots to choose from.

Just remembered there was also a 15mm version of a Salvage crew Demo Bot from Mega Miniatures which is also good.( Would make a good mech).

wampforum.com/content.php?r=2430-Mega-Miniatures-Release-15mm-Demo-Bot-stands-40mm-tall!

Thanks

One of the nice things with robots is how you can take figures from different scales and repurpose them. I've used Heavy gear walkers for 15mm infantry support and they look great.

zrunelord25 Sep 2014 2:08 p.m. PST

You're right Weasel,
I did just that with my Pax Brittanica force & they could also double up for 20 & 25mm easily.

castrarunis.blogspot.com/2014/09/pax-brittania-part-2.html

That's a good idea Avamango , I think it would be easy to convert the GZG 6mm ones to flight mode.

Those small biped 'bots from GZG/Germy see good use as Missile Drones in my Neu Swabian League forces . . . And the next size up vehicles as scout vehicles/infantry support units.
