Well another month has come and gone but forward progress has been maintained!!!

So I managed to paint 131 figs (target was 105) which was great, unfortuneately my buying urge cannot be repressed especially going on the Warlord games website

1) Aim to paint 120 figs (Monthly target needed to hit my yearly target)
2) Behave myself at the show next Sunday!!!!

Well, I am back to my usual tricks this month. Been trying to power through a big time painting funk, and I seem to be getting back to painting again with this months modest effort.

Goal for the rest of the year is to paint 100+ per month.

I find it hard to get time to paint most of the year but the summer is impossible. Finally managed to get 4 Empress Calvary and 4 foot painted and based. Hopefully the rest of the Empress figures will be completed next month. I was relatively behaved at Gencon so the lead pile didn't grow too much.

Nothing painted, bought two 1/100 aircraft for my 15mm African games. -8 on the year.

Good to see that there are some (+) numbers in the painting counts here, and it's not all "negatives/red ink"…

Okay so I didn't get as much done as I wanted due to three (yes three) out of state work trips and one weekend of being on call…go figure…but I did get some painting done.

1 "Colonel Marbles" Figure from Col. Campbell…I needed a pompous arrogant overbearing ass of a figure and this one fits the bill quite nicely….

Painted YTD: +164 ( I can't count the scenery as painted, so it's just the figures)
Bought YTD: -46 (Still waiting on the rest of my FoW Vietnam order from April)….

Plans for this month….

1: Finish up the current batch of figures.
2: Get to work on the Blue Moon Egyptian and Russian Agents, (That's another 10 figures right there).
3: Keep updating my blog.
4: Finish some terrain I am working on.
5: Get a game ready for October.
6: Hopefully by end of October I can start working on my 15's again….or maybe my 28mm pirates….

Not great, but not zero…

August was an improvement, but that's because I bought one figure and painted four. Since I often swing by 50 or 100 either way, it is pretty pitiful. However, those were the first figures I've painted since May, so it's all good and I'm still ahead for the year.
