Well July has seen 2 strange things happen – 1) the British weather has been really hot and 2) my painting mojo returned!!!!

Bought
6mm – 3 (aircraft)
28mm – 19

6mm – 108 (Dervish camel and cavalry!!!)
28mm – 6 (AWI Wagons)

Monthly profit = +86
Yearly total – =+1
Ready Locker – 2048 (target is 1519 by DEC 31st)

So I achieved my 99 figs for the month and I also behaved myself at the Baccus open day. Granted I have just ordered a load of 6mm aircraft from DOM that are going to add to the lead mountain, oh and I've pre-ordered the On the Seven Seas deal as well.

If I am to meet my goal I need to paint 105 figs a month going forward

MH, I have really admired your pledge posts on your pledge since you first announced. I seem to recall it was 4 or 5 years ago?

I have had 2 good months of painting my own Napoleonis. I have painted about 1000 and that's about 500 more than I bought

Thanks GUF, I have done a version of the Pledge since 2005 – It does help me to organise my collection but I never seem to make a significant dent in the unpainted mountain despite what I sort and paint on a yearly basis!!!!

This is crazy, seven months in, and I still haven't finished a figure yet. Hardly even bought anything either. Sad.

Bought nothing, painted nothing so I remain at a -1152 for the year.

You are missing the point. Avoiding buying new stuff is the hardest thing to do and you are way way ahead of everyone else

Yeah I was way ahead last year too…..over 2400 I think….I am showing some restraint this year…..

Managed to not buy anything so I'm still at a -45 YTD

I did ride my bike a little over 400 miles so at least one hobby goal was met :-)

Haven't updated the Pledge since the start of May, but then I haven't painted or purchased anything since early May so it's no big deal. Since the last update:

84 15mm Sci Fi Earth Force troops
32 15mm African spearmen for FoG

Purchase:
81 28mm Samurai, needed some Ronin forces (and now it's the fourth time I've owned 28mm Samurai, this time maybe I'll paint them!)

132 15mm US Paratroops at a flea market for FOW

This month, I might actually paint something. I need to stay positive, I just ordered some Zombiesmith stuff, so painting is a must!

1: I am working/on call, travelling to/from work most of this month, (including weekends)…
2 Try to finish up 20 more Pulp Figs.
3: Finish the 2 OG Foam buildings I started in 2009.
4: Work on my GW "Gardens of Morr" graveyard project….
5: Miss Gencon….
6: Have a good cry…

Nothing painted or bought in May.
June painted 40 Union Infantry and two sets of flags for command stands one gun and crew. Nothing bought.
July painted 50 Confederate infantry and flags for two command stands. Nothing bought.
