Just to get the ball rolling I'll offer up some alien types I'd like to see more of in 28mm:

1) Non-humanoid species such as:

and:

2) Alien civilians, such as:

and:

3) Some good Felines, like Khurasan's 15mm Felids:

And finally,
4) Everything Khurasan does in 15mm sci fi!

Definite yes to 1 and 3

The awesome non-humanoids in my post are from the New Federation Alien Shocktrooper Squad. The sculptor was trying to release them through a crowdfunder, but I just got word from Mark at CP Models that he bought them and they're now available for pre-purchase:

Also, Jon at Khurasan said the Felids should be available in 28mm soon…I hope that means real soon!

TWIN MIRROR

Awesome ? Tey are ridiculous…

Privateer4hire31 Mar 2014 7:47 p.m. PST

28mm Harook from Mad Robot.

It would be cool if someone took fantasy races and made sci-fi versions, like space elves, and space orcs, but certainly not space dwarves.

What I said in the third version of this thread d-:)

Hi tnjrp, yeah, don't know how the thread duplicated!

Glad you're onboard with the shocktroopers, too! (I got carried away and bought in at Warlord level).

Belgianray: if you're going to be insulting, at least you could get your spelling right.

Privateer4hire: those Harook are pretty cool, I hadn't seen them before. I'd like to see those in 28mm too.

Yes to 28mm Harook from Mad Robot.

I'd like a decent Lizardman race with body armour/power armour and hi-tech weaponry.

Less human non-humanoids.

chironex10 Oct 2014 5:29 a.m. PST

A decent range of mi-gou-like creatures?
Dinosaur-like creatures?
The Guyver and his Zoanoid enemies?

Fantasy races… Orc? Done to death… Elves? done… even space Dark Elves. Dwarves? Not as much as you'd think, but still done. Halflings? done. Ogres? Yes, them too. Illithid? They may not be terribly close, but how close do you need from the many hominids with a strangely-shaped head with tentacles around the mouth?

Some form of arthropod-centaur?

Tek-rat? Every ship should have a Tek-rat… Annoying two-foot talking marsupials though they may be…

Splugorth minions?
Kreewar?
