Any news on this rumored range of figures? Lots of colonials coming out but nothing on this front. And, Russ, if you read this – when is the creature back getting released in the horror range? |

Hi Emw, I will be the first to admit that due to a host of reasons projects get delayed, moved up, moved back, shuffled over, etc. Often it is the voice of the market itself that causes this -- (ugly truth time -- I need to make money at this). We are behind on Nappies right now and you should here that howling!! For example -- more requests asking for Zulu wars, Mexican American war, additions to the AWI and 7 years war have pushed the Boxer and crimean wars back. That being said, rest assured that these are ranges that are still on the list of thing we want to do --along with a couple others. As far as the creatures from the horror range --they just got forgotten as the wagons just kept rolling -- so thanks for the reminder. Best regards Russ Dunaway |

Good to know that some of my favorite ranges are moving along. Your sculptors must be burning the midnight oil! |

Thanks for the update. Just so you know that Early morning writer is not alone, I am also very interested in the release of the Blue Moon 15mm/18mm Boxer Rebellion. Richard |

Hi Russ Will the Zulus have cast-on shields and spears, or supplied separately like your Darkest Africa natives? And another one who will wait patiently for the Boxer Rebellion stuff but I quite understand why it might be difficult to make such a range a commercial success compared to some of the others planned. |

I'm excited to hear 7yw is on the horizon. I was holding out hope. |

There is no real practical way to cast the shields onto the Zulu figures so they will be separate --weapons will be cast on. Many of the 7 years war codes are in molds and will be released soon. regards Russ Dunaway |

Russ, Thanks for the update on the Boxer Rebellion. And I, for one, certainly understand you have to make money at your endeavor and hope you make plenty. You've satisfied a lot of people with what Blue Moon has released these last handful of years. And that's not counting all the stuff that came in earlier incarnations of miniature releases. Seven Years War? Well, have to watch for that. While I don't know if I'll jump on that one, I do believe it is the penultimate period for miniatures gaming – a nice balance between foot, horse, and artillery troops and it can play pretty close to "real time" on the table. Plus lots of uniform variety to keep painting interest up. Then there are all those characters from the era and then all those varied nations and the varied theaters. Different strokes, of course. |

Hrm, the Boxer Rebellion could be dangerous
I may have an idea for a cousin blog to General Pettygree's, centered around some US troops on the China Station

Boxer Rebellion figures and maybe some buildings or walls would be great and worth the wait! |
