I have been unable to contact Black Cat Bases for some time now, via the two email addresses I have for them or the specific 'Contact us' form on their website.

IF anyone in the UK can TEXT them for me at their number:

07772 870120 Mesages by text only

and then have them contact me via email:
pondman1955 (@) yahoo (dot) com
as soon as possible……I'd REALLY appreciate it.

This is on their site, but I have no idea how long it has been there:

"Hi,

I apologise for the delay on dispatch of orders, this has been due to ill health. Also our internet has been down for a long period of time and so I have been unable to access anything! Now that I am on holiday from my other jobs I will be making and dispatching all outstanding orders this week and dispatching them. We would like to thank everyone for their patience whilst we have had problems. Once these have been cleared normal service will be resumed but please be aware at the moment it may take 2 weeks to dispatch any new orders placed. Ben is sadly no better, thanks to everyone who has sent us messages whilst he has been ill."

I'm aware of the notice…..and that they've had some issues with health and illness AND computer issues.

I'm NOT trying to 'dogpile' on anyone, especially when they are 'down'/life-stuff going on. They've ALWAYS done right by me.

However, on the other 'tentacle'….I've invested time, effort, money and masters, (greens, brasses and prototypes) with them that were supposed to be molded and returned, or returned if not used. Some have been 'over there' for some time now and though I've requested the status of them/their return…(whether molded or not)….and I even recently sent enough postage through paypal, to cover returning them and have received no reply, nor my property back.

I've known Jo and Ben for over a decade and last I heard, a relative of theirs was expanding their 'garage/shed' so that they'd have more room to do stuff, but Ben was still not doing well, etc. That was back on June 23rd or so with nothing since.

Most of the 'Whiskers and Tentacles' line (but not all) are re-releases (as well as un-released/new stuff), of my old DGUSA figures.

Under our 'agreements'….they have the rights to mold and sell copies….but not to re-sell the molds or masters or prototypes, should their company change hands.
I simply want my own property back at this point….my masters (brass or greens), and some 'prototypes' I sent there for 'inspiration'…

If they've molded some of them, but haven't put them in the store yet, it doesn't matter, they still have that option, but I really want all my masters, 'used' or not and prototypes back…..now and I sent fundage to (hopefully) cover that.

At the same time….I'm reminded of the old adage, 'If you're up to your tush in 'gators, it's hard to remember your original job was to drain the swamp….and they might be at that point.

I'm just asking for my own property back….items I had created/created….that cost me blood, sweat, tears and not a little cash….so that I can pursue other options/futures for them. I don't think that is an unreasonable request.
