I'm not adverse to making the odd controversial comment. Usually tongue in cheek. But in my head I draw a line.

Having a thought about something and joking about it with your mates is one thing, but starting a thread about it is another.
When you know the person you are talking about will read this and may be hurt, then that is a step too far. This one is bordering on a personal attack.

Even though you've not said who you are talking about it is bleedin' obvious to anyone who takes a moment to think.
