A couple of folks have asked about the ‘wilkinsons tiles' that I have shown up in my blog. So to answer the question and to spread the news I thought a separate thread here might be in order. I can confirm that these were bought from Wilkinsons and can be bought online or in store for £5.95 GBP. They are vinyl, come in packs of six, and are c30cm x 30cm in size. Pack Shot:

They are self adhesive – I have mounted mine on hardboard bases in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Gameplay Shot – buildings in baxckground from EM4 (the farm)
As far as paved streets go they are a great quick option for all genres – in the coming weeks I am going to try and give them an ink wash to dirty them up a bit Floor tiles offer a multitude of possibilities – check out the diy stores – all my rivers have been made using the oxford blue tiles from Homebase my rivers:

Wilkinsons is very useful for gamers – coir matting, tester paint pots, tiles amongst other things I always call in on my Saturday morning stroll around Stroud |

You should send that pic to the tiles' manufacturer – I am sure they will get a kick out of it. |

Great find! At the moment on the wilkinsons online shop you can get the beige packs of these (although, being unimaginative with colour names, I would call them grey) for £2.97 GBP link |

Just got back from Wilkies and have some of the tiles. Not sure what they will be yet. While I was there saw two other tiles that might be useful. Similar to the ones you posted Eric, but these are sand coloured cobbles and blue coloured cobbles. Same price. link |

These are great! I've been using peel-n-stick floor tiles for a while, for other mini's-related projects. They cut with utility scissors very well. The glue will bond well to paper (cardboard, foamboard, etc.), or wood (MDF, plywood, etc.). They could also be used to cover castle walls made out of whatever material you choose. Here in the States, I've not seen this pattern, yet. I will keep an eye out for them now. Thanks! Cheers! |
