What could be made with them?

Thanks,

Mine rollers. Agricultural machines (harvesters). Radar arrays. Starship engines. Massive energy cannons. A mad scientist/pulp villain's world destroying ultimate weapon. A jumbo sized Oxygen Destroyer for dealing with those rally big kaiju.

Hope this helps!evil grin

They make pretty good industrial pylons and supports too.

Fill them with plaster of some type as sci fi gabions.

Over on Necromundicon, they show up in a number of pieces of scenery. I think most often as safety cages around high ladders. In 28mm of course, but you might get ideas there.

One thing to note, Most likely they are made out of soft plastic, so you're going to want to use Krylon "Fusion" paints or a similar product to get paint adhesion. I use the Krylon Camo sprays which have "Fusion Technology" (whatever that means) When painting soft plastic.

Lets not forget a scifi favorite "Tesla Coils".

Hmmm… if you get big ones, cut them in half lengthwise, paint, and then glue on a strip of thin transparent plastic (like report binder covers), you could make some wicked greenhouses out of them. Perfect for your Martian settlement scenarios!

If ypu get the cheap microwaveable ones from the pond shop (uk) you get a solid inner that looks like a storage drum/water condenser or whatever.

We have a set, plus some cheap humidifiers, with the idea of making a dinosaur (or similar) hunting lodge, caged walkways that you can shoot through.

Might also make those enclosed ladders on the outside of industrial structures.

Barriers – join 2 cut-down on a base together in an "8", similar to a gambion, fill with rubble.

For starship gaming, you could probably make a cool Utopia Planetia style orbital repair bay.

Your greenhouse idea gone vertical could work for lifts :)
