Jon is venturing into the realm of 20mm scifi, a much neglected market, and I thought it was worth showing here as I think it might make a suitable 15mm scifi tank.

Curious on the size
I think it'd work perfect for my PanGalactic legion

I asked Jon on the other forum. We'll see what he says. -Eli |

I have to say, I've been looking forever for a tank that didn't look like it was just a slightly retooled 21st century vehicle. When the only other 'futuristic' options kind of equate to hovering eggs with tank turrets it gets a little old. I really hope that this works for 15s, though I won't be holding my breath. |

If I might comment, and please do not feel I am pointing fingers or attacking anyone here,it seems there is a lot of concern with "if" this will work for 15mm. First of all, it's an early preview and we have no way yet of knowing the exact dimensions. Even still, it seems to me that after years of working hard to adapt modern armor models from other scales to scifi and with scifi vehicles ranging all over the board in size and dimensions, that this should really not be an issue. When it comes down to it, it's a 20mm/1:72 model. Regardless of the actual size we will be adapting it to 15mm if it is going to be used with that scale. I have no doubt that 15mm gamers will reap the benefit of this tank in one capacity or another. Heck, even the 6mm gamers are peaked! -Eli |

When the only other 'futuristic' options kind of equate to hovering eggs with tank turrets it gets a little old. Right there with you. It's like the 15mm/20mm vehicles and infantry ranges are completely opposite of where they should be. In 1/100 we have great amazing infantry forces like Khurasan's Feds, GZG UNSC, and Critical Mass ZAS – all looking like the best military SF novels' cover artwork. But most of the vehicles released in the last few years have very clear modern origins. I'm getting tired of Bradleys, Marders, Strykers, and BMPs from the year 2025. On the other hand, most 1/72 "sci fi" infantry lines look like they come right out of last year's Ranger Joes or USCAV catalogs. And then Jon goes and show of one of the nicest pieces of super-futuristic equipment we've seen yet. Go figure. :) -Chris K. |

Oooooh! I like it! The Hypatians just might have a super- heavy grav tank for their self-defence forces. |

I like to see Jon focus on 6mm since most of us have to buy from UK companies for the product. |

Shiny! I'll take a platoon of them for 15mm and scale one up for 28. ;-) |

Perfect for a certain race he makes sans pictures – bit bigger than human, I think. |

Whatever the scale it's a great looking concept and I'll probably find a use for them somewhere. :) -Will |

The head reminds me of Terminator HK tank
A few small mods, and a decent not-HK could be made out of this for Terminator fans! |

YES we definitely need more futuristic tank designs. Great addition |
