Some very tidy looking sculpts there it must be said!

Michael.

elsyrsyn28 Feb 2013 8:05 a.m. PST

Some neat stuff there – thanks!

Doug

Rothgar28 Feb 2013 8:07 a.m. PST

I like the drones and the Ashigaru.

Big Jim28 Feb 2013 8:16 a.m. PST

They look strangely familiar, I can't believe no one has thought of doing six limbed aliens and arming them with swords, whips or bio weapons…

The drones look good mind.

Caesar28 Feb 2013 8:27 a.m. PST

Well, they are fulfilling a need.
I find them interesting.

Charles Marlow28 Feb 2013 8:30 a.m. PST

I really like the Terran Hybrid Abominations.

Mooseworks828 Feb 2013 8:35 a.m. PST

Sweet!

javelin9828 Feb 2013 9:40 a.m. PST

Wow! Those are nice, clean sculpts! I can just feel 6mm Space Hulk calling to me…

Kealios28 Feb 2013 10:25 a.m. PST

Stop it! I promised my wife NO MORE MINIS when we get our tax return, until I base and assemble what I already have.

Those Ashigaru are so cool looking!

Shedman28 Feb 2013 10:40 a.m. PST

Very nice

sharkbait28 Feb 2013 10:41 a.m. PST

Interesting. I looked at the site and noticed the company is located pretty close to me.

Anyone have any actual minis from them? EDIT – I just realized that they did just open.

I should place an order and see for myself.

They do some great stuff ! With more to come !

Gokiburi28 Feb 2013 12:05 p.m. PST

Is anyone else having trouble with their website?
I can load the front page, but everything else just stalls out.
What I can see looks good though (a little too familiar, but still good).

Artraccoon28 Feb 2013 12:09 p.m. PST

Those Ashigaru are very cool looking…just add some back banners and the right paint jobs. Then I've got to score some of those 1/300th scale Japanese castle kits( one to build as normal, the other to modify into something more SF). Now we need some Samurai and jet bike cav.

Damn, I'll need two forces…one red(Shingen) and one black(Kenshin).

Sometimes, maybe he is getting more traffic than he expected?

Sorry you're having trouble! Do you happen to be at work, or some other location that blocks "game" related material?

Big Ian28 Feb 2013 12:53 p.m. PST

Don Carr, keep those amazing sculpts coming. It is even worth the UK import tax to get those into my collection! Pocket Space Hulk here we go.

WLBartlett28 Feb 2013 12:58 p.m. PST

I'm really liking the Legion minis. I hope they are back in stock soon.

regards, Bill

moocifer28 Feb 2013 1:04 p.m. PST

Quite like the Stygian Hunters & Barongs ..

Onslaught Miniatures28 Feb 2013 1:10 p.m. PST

I'm really liking the Legion minis. I hope they are back in stock soon.

I'm putting a re-stock order in tomorrow – some of those units just sold out today.

Quite like the Stygian Hunters & Barongs

Thanks! Wave 2 is at the casters, wave 3 is nearly ready as well. Wave 4 and 5 are in the works, but it won't be long.

stroezie28 Feb 2013 1:14 p.m. PST

WOW!!! I needs me some of those ONI Assault rigs.

drool, drool, pant,pant..

SLAP!

So, any idea when wave 3 will be out? ;-)

Space Monkey28 Feb 2013 2:41 p.m. PST

The Nagas are of particular interest to me… very nice.

I looked but couldn't find where it's mentioned what these are made from… metal? plastic? resin? pudding?

I'm guessing mid-April.

LOL I nearly spit out my drink when I read that :) After many failed pudding experiments, I settled on metal.

Each item currently available has an actual product photo in their description.

javelin9828 Feb 2013 4:51 p.m. PST

What software are you using to design these, if I may ask?

Onslaught Miniatures28 Feb 2013 5:11 p.m. PST

3ds Max for model creation, Netfabb studio for STL checks.

Gokiburi28 Feb 2013 6:02 p.m. PST

Your website is working for me now, I'm not sure why it didn't earlier (I wasn't anywhere that should've blocked anything).

Now that I can see them, those assault rigs are delicious!
I just need to find an excuse to own them.
It's a shame that they probably wouldn't go well with Microworld's lizard riders (my other major 6mm want at the moment); I wonder how they'd look with GZG's Paladin/Phalanx vehicle family, maybe with some NSL infantry. . .

Crankee Doodle28 Feb 2013 6:28 p.m. PST

Love the Tengu, great stuff! They will be the OPFOR for my PacFed in the near future.

commanderroj01 Mar 2013 2:39 a.m. PST

IJN Marines was my thought too. I wonder how big the OTC Assault rigs will be?

Naga look interesting too. I've always wanted some 6mm snake/worm-men.

stroezie01 Mar 2013 3:26 a.m. PST

On the bottom of the pics it says that the actual size for the rigs is14mm.
Perfect to go alongside my GZG not-VOTOMs :-))

Onslaught Miniatures01 Mar 2013 6:04 a.m. PST

Glad to see there will be multiple uses for them :)

Rothgar01 Mar 2013 7:28 a.m. PST

I could use those suits too.. would be nice if I could get them at about 10mm tall. Need smaller suits than GZGs not-votoms.

boy wundyr x01 Mar 2013 8:23 a.m. PST

Whoa, I can't even describe my reaction when I saw these previews:

I think they would be good opponents for MW's dino-riders, same sort of low sci-fi tech feel to them. And cool.

javelin9801 Mar 2013 8:48 a.m. PST

I can just imagine the cheers of the Squats as they ride that thing into battle, quaffing their mead all the while…

Caesar01 Mar 2013 9:52 a.m. PST

Need more flying bugs.

The Tartarus Command Center will be a beast – it's tracks just barely fit on a 80x60mm base :)

There will hopefully be multiple Warmachines based on it's chassis – just gottah' see if sales will support it's manufacture costs.

boy wundyr x01 Mar 2013 12:37 p.m. PST

If the TCC is scalable (sounds like its digitally created) down to 2mm (so 1/3 the size), it'll also appeal to the Land Ironclads crowd, which would give it about a 27x20mm footprint. I'm really liking the look though.

Victor Kravenhoff01 Mar 2013 3:35 p.m. PST

Damn, that stuff look great!

Oops, missed that even though i saw the sizes on some of the others. Thanks. I like my PA to be closer to man size. A bit biggr and i could have used with my IJN Marines in 15mm!

Johny Boy02 Mar 2013 8:19 a.m. PST

Do we have a spec release date for the Neo Ashigaru as i'm deff interested in these and will be wanting to buy a lot of them for my PACFED 6mm force, how will these be packaged in terms of numbers and any chance of Command packs and Heavy weapons packs to accompany them?

Cheers and good luck with the venture

Onslaught Miniatures02 Mar 2013 1:59 p.m. PST

I'm guessing mid-April for the Neo Ashigarus – it all depends on the speed of the caster.

They will come in squads of 25 minis, command and support weapons are also planned for future releases.

Kealios02 Mar 2013 11:15 p.m. PST

I tend to find its best for new casters to get a majority of their line out before I start ordering…and DAMN, you're making it hard to wait…are you planning on vehicles for the OTC?

Onslaught Miniatures04 Mar 2013 7:38 a.m. PST

Yessir I am. Focusing on infantry to get my feet wet – but yes, each line will be fully supported.

Dale Hurtt05 Mar 2013 11:08 a.m. PST

As soon as I saw these I went and bought a pack of each. (Unfortunately, the army deals were out of stock, but there is one in stock now. Go figure!)

The castings are very nice, the metal hard and holds detail well (guessing higher tin content). No flash on the halves, just little streamers where the vent holes were. (You flick those off with your fingernail.) Excellent quality and fast service. I am looking forward to painting these and buying more.

I am definitely on the "must buy list" for the not-Tau. Just looking for not-Broadsides!. The not-Crisis Suits (Serenity Suits?) look really good. April seems so far away … grin

It's awesome to hear that Dale!

I saw your painted Mantis Beast on your blog, it looks great!

Dale Hurtt06 Mar 2013 5:53 p.m. PST

Thanks. Really easy to paint. Painting a stand of Prowlers and an Overseer driving them with his whip.

Soon as those OTC drones and OTC units are available, I'm going to build up my Dirtside Japanese force with some regular army Neo-Ashigaru . . . and the IJSF are getting some PA for the Planetary Engagement Forces.

Victor Kravenhoff15 Mar 2013 10:00 a.m. PST

yeah, freaking awesome. I really hope that GW doesn't try and smash you.

Johny Boy15 Mar 2013 12:57 p.m. PST

Get them quick while you can

Covert Walrus10 Apr 2013 2:50 p.m. PST

Been following them on FB – they have plans for some newer Avian forces that look damn nice, and while some people will use them as Not-Kroot, I think they'll suit a lot of other needs as well.
