I recall seeing a chart system that converted/replaced the Chit pulling damage system for the Dirtside II rules.

Does anyone know if that can be found on the web?

I have a chit-pulling spreadsheet (Excel 2007) which I can send you. Drop me a line at javelin98 AT lycos DOT com.

The only problem with dicing instead of pulling is the "sampling with replacement" issue. If you had to pull five chits, for example, with the given counter sheets, you could only pull two Firer Systems Down chits, but if rolling dice, you could potentially roll five of them. The spreadsheet I built utilizes a "sampling without replacement" technique that ensures that wouldn't happen.

Here's a table version of the chit spread. Now you just need a 17-sided die and a 7-sided die and you'll be all set!

I have your spreadsheet. I found it years ago. I think it is a very helpful accessory to the game. Thank you for making that and your vehicle design spreadsheet.

I brought up the dice system because some players would always prefer a dice roll to a chit pull.

I was thinking about the "sampling with replacement" error. One way to solve that would be to print this chart out on a sheet of paper, suitably spaced out. Then, after each roll of the dice, cover that value with a chit or a penny. So if you have to pull four chits, you roll the dice pair four times and cover up each result with a marker. If you roll one that you've already rolled, you just roll it again.

They would do them as a special order for you. A number of folks bought custom Space Hulk blips and counters when the 3rd Ed. came out.

Wellspring, you can use Litko's custom tokens for this. I just recieved a set I special ordered using their custion tokens. They look really good but it's a little pricey for a whole set.

You could also use some 20mm mdf bases and stickers to make a set of chits as well.

How about just a deck of cards?

If you do not like Tokens, also if you want to computerize it many card drawing programs out now could load the chits in to a deck of cards that way as well.
