Hmmmm

Remind me of some of the Missus' cousins

I like the mummified ones, but some of the "uncovered" ones look like they had cantaloupes hurled at them from 10 paces.

Great potential for Aryiki TMP link

Despite my age old fart I feel no sympathy for the mummies

Oh My !!!! huh?

I was tempted by the "covered" set until I noticed that the wrapping was done wrong. Breast binding goes under for support, giving you plenty of nice boobage on top, or it goes across the middle to flatten things down (in case you actually want them out of the way for something like swordfighting.) But sagging breasts under a bandage? Ugh, no thanks.

Done wrong?
How can a made up fantasy race/god/religion style 'clothing' be wrong?
It is not even real to begin with…

Maybe the result you see there is what they wanted to achieve…?

Many folks like to see underboob, maybe that is their aim?

I wish they had armour, then they'd actually be useful. (sigh)

The shadowforge ones are more useful. Unarmoured but more plausibly dressed, although these could be used for Wargods of Aegyptus followers of Set, or Death cultists.

Mooseworks818 Jan 2013 8:13 p.m. PST

Very cool.

Aksakal18 Jan 2013 9:28 p.m. PST

Nice. Easily see these mummies as pharaohmone additions to resist the aryidannan invasion – mummified heroines raised to protect their homeland from the ravages of the serpent goddess.

Okay, I'm confused. Are these supposed to be living women who wear mummy wrappings or revived mummies who are shedding their wrappings? Not interested as presented.

i reevaluated my thinking based on Jana's expertise in these matters.
Then I took a closer look at the waists.
Ummm, no.

Ummm, no.

Are you saying it IS ok for fantasy models to be fantasy???

John, are you suggesting the proportions are unrealistic?

Surely not

The 'uncovered' are historically more accurate (!) than the Shadowforge 'Egyptian' Temple Guards with their 'Christian' bras grin

They remind me of a movie rendition of 'She' where the warriors have a definitively 'Egyptian' look. Thus these can provide the garrison of some 'Lost City' to be discovered by daring explorers any time from the Late Roman Empire to the 'Pulp' era. A lot of potential.thumbs up

I feel I should be ashamed to publically admit that I have been waiting for something exactly like these to come onto the market.

I feel I should be even more ashamed to ask this in seriousness: is the standard historically accurate?
