Its been quite a while since the Pharoahmone army list came out (based on and supported by Shadowforge's Temple of Light miniatures) so it was high time that they had a battle against an oldie but a goodie: an Aryidannan hoplite phalanx.

Two games were had using the same terrain and setup using standard 100AP armies.

See all about it: aryiki.com/a/aar1.aspx

A little too heavily dressed for Aryiki, probably, but the 'semi-mesoamerican' look of Tekumel minis is original:

Reflecting Tekumeli culture, women warriors are scattered in several other units of diverse nationalities.

Ayiki: Needs more boobies… No wait. For once, that comment does not apply. :)

Overexposure to dull the senses.

Just like playing toy soldiers too much makes you think it's normal ;)

The tekumel stuff is really nice, i'm reading into EPT in a large way recently. They need to do a unit devoted to lady Dlamelish.

That would be the "Legion of the Translucent Emerald."

First buyer comment (not mine!) on the Tékumel Project blog: 'These are without a doubt the best female warrior sculpts I have ever purchased.'

Hope the Tékumel Project sculptor will surpass himself for the Legion of the Sapphire Kirtle, Tsolyani 12th Imperial Light Infantry:
