How come the Polls are all say 2011? Did we get stuck in a time loop somehow? |

Weren't the polls halted for most of the year? I think it was catch-up on the timeliness of subjects. |

The Editor has suffered a blow to the head? Unable to cope with life and has retreated to the happy days of 2011? Either way, probably best not to disturb him. You know, don't poke the Bear, lest he goes postal. |

Seems sensible to me for rules. How would we know in January 2012 if a set of rules published in December 2011 were the best thing since sliced bread or just a short lived fad. Seems sensible to reserve judgement for a bit (maybe a year is a bit long). Figures, on the other hand, are more immediately obviously good or bad. |

Personally, I would like more polls.

Polls are good. Lack of polls is bad. |

According to the Jewish calendar, 5773. By the Chinese calendar, 4709. The Muslims say 1433. Why not have a poll to decide what year it is? |
