A superb miniature and valid to take note for those who want to paint the Spanish Cuirassiers.

"This unit was formed in 1810, with a staff of six companies of 70 men each one , divided into two squads. The armor, helmets and weapons were captured by the Numancia Dragoons to the 13th French Cuirassier Regiment at the Battle of Mollet only served to equip one squadron.
The red jackets were from British origin, with green collar and cuffs edged in white. The buckskins white , with black leather boots.
In 1818 this unit joined the Cavalry Regiment of the Queen (Regimiento de la Reina)."
