I've been mainly busy painting Warmaster Empire figures over the last couple of months in preparation for a big Warmaster game. I've now doubled my painted figures to 4k.

Second attempt to post seems to have actually worked.

According to what I have read elsewhere, "Hail Caesar" is the new improved version of Warmaster.

Well fortunately the same figures work with both rules!

I do like Hail Caesar lots, but more people in my gaming group like WM so it is much easier to arrange a big multiplayer game of WM. And a big game is always good, especially due to the interaction of all the players.

Nice looking army.

I have 2k of High Elves but stalled a few years ago on getting my Orc/goblin army done. It is one of the few GW games I think they did really well.

Thanks Mike.

Don't mention the Elves, I have insane amounts of them! But my Orcs are also rather stalled.

Beautifully done, Sir.
Very well done.

Very nicely done.

The figures are great.

The grass mat they're sitting on is what I have a question about: Who makes it and where can I get one? My lovely former train board and my sand table have left my possession and now I need to find a new playing surface.

Very nice looking army. Great game.

Valator – the grass mat is the Citadel Battlemat, should be available from Games Workshop. It is cloth backed so can go over hills and is a fairly good price.

That's a very nice looking army Fred, your other forces look great to, pity your not a bit closer it would be fun to see them in a game.
