Now that Napoleon and the Armies of Mars is Available : TMP link and considering the other Napoleonic SF and fantasy rule sets out there should there be a Napoleonic SF board and would you support it ?

While not Napoleonic specifically, I think there is a growing interest in late 1700's/early 1800's sci-fi gaming (sometimes called Lacepunk) and a general board might be in order. A lot of it currently ends up in the VSF board where it really deosn't fit.

So, yes i would support a late 18th/ early 19th century 'lacepunk' (for want of a better term) board.

Oh wait! The pedants have decreed that the War of 1812 is NOT Napoleonic! Then we will need a War of 1812 SF Board as well.
And an American Revolution SF Board.
And a Mad Anthony Wayne's Wars SF Board.
And a Seven Years War SF Board (I hope we can wrap a FIW SF Board into this as well.)

I think if you did a Napoleonic (word combing fantasy and sci-fi which might still just be fantasy) board that encompassed both SF and fantasy you would probably have something. It would be difficult to deny that Napoleonic fantasy is a thing with Flintloque out there. It may not be the most popular system in the world but it is enjoyed and has a range of figs to go along with it.

I've been thinking about doing some Napoleonic fantasy naval stuff and have a few sea monsters about to do the very thing, although I haven't gotten it off the ground yet much. To be fair most of the human ships are painted. :)
