So a guy over on another forum was scratchbuilding these 15mm tanks and mecha to go with his Tigrid forces.

They look great and very much Renegade Legion inspired.
Just the thing I've been looking for.

So I contact him about making some. I then went the next logical route and asked him if he thought about casting his stuff. Worked out a few details and next thing I know, he's sending me the Master and I'm sending it to the casters.

It's a 9 piece model. It consists of the turrets, the turret weapon, the main body, the main gun, the grav drive underneath, and 4 triangle wings that for the side skirting around the tank.
It's 4.25" inches long, just over 2" wide with the side wings/skirt and about an inch thick including the turret.
Made by Kurakarl and if this goes well we'll be doing his Medium and Heavy APCs next.

All I did to mine was cut it free from the heavy sprues, lightly file and glue it together.

I know someone is going to ask about this

They just came in so I can't wait to hear from others what they think.

Smokin'! I'm a big fan of Renegade Legion. Post when it's ready for sale!

JRacel21 Sep 2012 10:15 p.m. PST

Warlock, they are ready for sale, mine have already shipped. They are $20 USD each with a little discount if you order several of them. just PM LordNth about it.

Kurakarl is a great guy, he made some turrets for me and they were FAN-TAS-TIC!

sauron80822 Sep 2012 1:52 a.m. PST

All I can say is WOW!!! They look great!

Lion in the Stars22 Sep 2012 1:56 a.m. PST

Daaaaaaaaayum!

Do. Want.

Though I really want the Liberator APC, with the side doors and notches in the upper hull.

These two APCs are next :) Really not sure the RL names. I enjoyed the game but didn't play enough of it to remmeber all the names. :(

I'll pass it along to Kurakarl your request for the Liberator-inspired one. But it wouldn't be out til 2013. As there are these 2 and medium type tank in que.

Tgunner22 Sep 2012 7:38 a.m. PST

I want them! And I will be happy to buy them! Cast these bad boys. Not-Renegade Legion in 15mm? Yes please! May I have more????

Seriously, these are really nice looking sculpts and I'm sure there are plenty of 15mm gamers, like me, who would love a couple of platoons of them.

ming3122 Sep 2012 7:40 a.m. PST

They woulld be cool in any scale …Even 28mm size hint hint nudge nudge

JLA10522 Sep 2012 7:49 a.m. PST

KJdidit22 Sep 2012 8:45 a.m. PST

Ordered! I'll wait semi-patiently for the other vehicles to become available. ;)

Vosper22 Sep 2012 9:07 a.m. PST

Great tank, and I hope it does very well, as my preference would be for the two AIFV's instead of the tank.

Keep us informed of the progress, please?

Cergorach22 Sep 2012 10:55 a.m. PST

Very nice LordNth! Is that length (4.25") including or excluding the main gun barrel? Want to know if it fits with my scratchbuild Liberator.

SFSCTsik22 Sep 2012 1:53 p.m. PST

Awesome. When and where can I buy one? How do I PM??

LordNth23 Sep 2012 3:56 a.m. PST

No, that length of 4.25 does not include the barrel. But the barrel is just a little longer than the rest of the model. It sticks out another 5/8th an inch.

LordNth23 Sep 2012 3:58 a.m. PST

if you can't PM then try emailing. Remove the spaces and the []. Replace at with @ and dot for .

Thanks for the praise, I'll pass it along to the sculptor. He's excited to get the AIFV done too!

kurakarl23 Sep 2012 6:31 a.m. PST

Thanks everyone for all the great comments
now to work on the other vehicles!

spicmart24 Sep 2012 2:54 p.m. PST

Wow! I placed an order immediately. This is really that cool!
Even if it is not RenLeg it does capture the "spirit" of the RL TOGgy tanks.
On KuraKarl's blog there are some awesome RL inspired capital spaceship designs.
Maybe you also can make models of them someday?;-)?

Apropos, I'm seizing the opportunity and would like to ask if someone here has RENEGADE LEGION POSTERS that he would sell?
Or at least know where to get them.
Sorry to get a little bit off topic.

JRacel24 Sep 2012 5:32 p.m. PST

I got my tanks today and they look great!!!!!!!! Very nicely cast and larger than expected. Thanks a lot Owen!!!!

LordNth08 Oct 2012 1:48 p.m. PST

Less than half remain. If you want one I suggest a PM or email is in order.
Now to get to work on mine.

Painted by a good friend of mine. As you can see he doesn't keep anything stock.
