Here are my Tanks from a previous post with a little more paint put on them. Just weathering to go, and a commander for the one APC.
Now to get to the rest of the force

very cool, nice art

Moqawama23 Jun 2012 6:16 a.m. PST

Oh the envy…

listen, would you be available/interested to construct a small number of turrets like the long barrelled ones and to mail them to me?

Hm?

JRacel23 Jun 2012 6:44 a.m. PST

Outstanding work as normal. The models are fantastic and then you add a wonderful paint gob to them. Truly inspirational work.

I have these in person. The man is a mad scientist of scratch building!

Micropanzer23 Jun 2012 7:03 a.m. PST

cast these up already -- I want 10 apc and 6 of the other

KJdidit23 Jun 2012 7:19 a.m. PST

Or if you're not willing to cast them, do you have templates for your vehicles that you work from that you'd be willing to post someplace online?

kurakarl23 Jun 2012 8:28 a.m. PST

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.
I'am slowly (lack of available time) looking into casting these.

Moqawama send me an email we'll talk (karlkura7@aol.com)

Brilliant! These look very much like Centurion grav tanks, my favorite designs -- are these scratchbuilt or commercially available??

Mutant Q23 Jun 2012 9:26 a.m. PST

Very much like Centurion tanks? I was half-expecing to see a TOG insignia emblazoned on the front glacis.

Anyway, awesome work! I always thought that RL tanks should have been a much larger scale.

Charles Marlow23 Jun 2012 9:50 a.m. PST

As others have said, great work and I'd buy these if they were available. I like that they look a lot like RL designs.

jpattern223 Jun 2012 12:25 p.m. PST

As I said in your other thread, if you cast them, I will buy.

Mako1123 Jun 2012 1:40 p.m. PST

Those look excellent!

A superb job of assembly, a nice looking camo. job, superb nose art and unit designation striping.

I'm with the others, and would love to see these put into production too, since I'd like to purchase some, when I can afford it.

No doubt, they would sell quite well.

I imagine if you don't have the time to make molds of, and cast them, that someone like Scotty, from Combat Wombat, and/or other manufacturers might be able to work some sort of deal with you to do so.

A vote of splendidness sir.

Absolutely glorious work! Love the "bullfrog" camo spec and graffiti …evil grin

Good gravy! That is the most perfect mix of the main-line RenLeg TOG tanks I've ever seen. And those certainly don't look like scratchbuilds, but like perfectly described scale models. I have to say that single picture made my day.

If you ever put these into production somehow I think you'd make a killing. Tangentially, have you ever thought about doing these models in a smaller scale? You might even have more luck getting them cast.

amazing!

Mako1123 Jun 2012 10:17 p.m. PST

CinC/PFC. produces the authentic RL stuff, in 1/285th scale, in metal, already.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian23 Jun 2012 11:27 p.m. PST

Methinks "kurakari' should talk to C-in-C about putting these into production as resin and white metal kits, or if C-in-C is not willing to go into resin then perhaps they'll be amenable to a collaborative effort by farming out the resin bits casting to another manufacturer like say Combat Wombat…?

Seriously. I'm game for some Centurion-style Gravtanks (though I prefer the Naram-design rounded hulls).
