Hi,

I've recently been boring you TMP users about a new initiative leading toward producing fast-assembly hard plastic vehicles for Inter-wars and SCW gaming:

and

Well, the fact is that I've got some fresh news on the matter, that can be watched at link --in short, some 2.0 prototypes, quite closer to the ultimate product than the one shown to you in previous posts

*very* cool! May I continue to suggest some armored cars and some trucks?

Cheap trucks would be a godsend.

Thanks for your comments :)

Mmmm… I'd rather start thinking about some means of keeping record/track of suggestions…

+1 request for the Tiznaos!

The Constructora Field No.2 would be a great curvaceous challenge:

Please please make a T.26 to go against them next! You will sell dozens if not hundreds of these to people who do SCW Winter War and early WWII; the profit generated by these will bankroll the more 'exotic' projects

Mmmmm…

T-26 is a really tempting choice. What about a model with alternate parts for building it either as a T-26 A Model 1931 (twin MG turrets) or a T-26 B Model 1933 (single turret, 45mm gun)?

Well, I've just opened a poll on Minairons' blog: minairons-news.blogspot.com . It might be helpful in the decisions taking process.

Great looking. For the moment it seems 1/100 Pz I A will be next. An armoured car, UNL 35, Chevy or the like would be great; don't know if tiznaos are worth the inversion on selling terms…

P.S.: Zvezda T26 are hard competition. Your Pz I 20 mm. variant sells itself as Zvezda ones are base Pz I. Being competitive is necessary, I guess…

Hi Dogged,

As far as I know, Zvezda currently produce as 1/100 fast assembly model kit the latest variant of T-26, that one known as "S" or Model 1937. Minairons would release those earlier variants suitable for SCW and other Inter-wars conflicts; either in 1/72 and 1/100 scales. So no direct competitor to Zvezda, then.

Unless I'm wrong, or there were latest hour news from Zvezda, they have released (within that 1/100 fast assembly range) Pz II, III and IV so far --not any Pz I. In case they have just done so… well, beg they released the "B" version! :S

T-26 Model 1933 single turret with 45mm gun! Yes!

Why? It was the definitive variant used during the SCW. It was used by the Chinese against Japan. It was used during the Nomanhan Incident. It turned up in the Winter War. It was used during Operation Barbarossa.

The T-26 Model 1933 is ubiquitous, and anyone who games any of these periods like yours truly could easily justify six at the very least, if not more for their wargame table!evil grin

For my part, I can see buying up six at a time, as I game the Chinese Civil War/Sino-Japanese War, the SCW, the Winter War, and Early Ostfront, so my eventual goal for T-26 Model 1933s breaks down as:

6 x Spanish Republican

12 x KMT Chinese (200th Division)

12 x Red Army (overall green finish for Barbarossa and Nomonhan)

12 x Red Army (Winter War/Defense of Moscow, etc.)

An affordable fast-assembly hard plastic 1/72 scale T-26 Model 1933? Evil heart be still!!evil grin

Soldadets, you're right!
