Here is Ravenstar's FOX WALKER from the collection of the dude who mated a Tau Stealth Suit to Space Murheens' legs to create a 15mm heavy battlesuit. TMP link Nifty idea, that one. Now here it is mine, I'd like to take the turret from the Fox walker and swap it with the turret from another 15mm tank, possibly Khurasan's Siler.
Do you think it's feasible? Do the turrets compare to one another sizewise? The FOX' resin body would support the Siler's turret? If anyone of you owns both models
. P.S. (I crossposted this post to a wrong message thread, please delete it from there). |

I'm not sure about the sizes – I only own the Fox. But I think it's going to be just a bit smaller than the Siler. Is there enough of a stylistic difference between those two turrets for this to be an worthwhile project? I'd suggest something more like a Critical Mass Dragamaa tank:
That turret would look pretty menacing on the Ravenstar legs. -Chris K. |

There's only one way to be sure, clkeagle, and that would be to see the Fox and the Siler side-to-side, or either to see a pic of the Fox and one of the Siler on a centimetre-d cutting mat. I hope someone would deliver either one or the other. The Dragmataa project is also interesting but I think that the Dragmataa is in the same league of the Siler sizewise, it could even be a bit bigger. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I checked, both the Siler and the Dragmataa are roughly 9x6 centimeters. |

The Siler has a massive turret ring underneath that may not fit into the walker without some work |

Some work does not scare me, otherwise I wouldn't be into kitbashing, what I need to know are the Siler turret's dimensions compared to the FOX' one. |
