Fort Jackson is a nice little fort to see. Couple it with Ft. Pulaski and the 8th Air Force Museum and it makes a great day trip in Savannah. Don't forget to go to the Crab House out on Tybee Island. It could be like the CSS Neuse. They say the wood has rotted away, but the Neuse was preserved by the mud where she was scuttled. |
