I would love for someone to make 4-6 different poses of something "inspired by" these guys, but no taller than 10-12mm:

Wouldn't that be awesome? Can you imagine a horde of those roaming the countryside, after a pair of them escapes from a genetic splicing lab (where they were trying to make rabbits and turtles really taste like chicken)?

Its RABBIT Season!!!

Agreed they'd look good on the game table but they seem technically design-flawed. Don't see how they can attack prey – arms too short to grasp and hold, Beak too small to bite and hold all without getting unbalanced and falling over.

Short arms are for grooming and mating. They sit on their prey, holding them with the backs of their legs. The sharp teeth quickly pierce flesh and arteries allowing them to eat in solitude and piece.

Four eared rabbit rat. Eww

Mmm, rabbit stew.
On an entirely unrelated point. have you ever seen what a 7.62mm round does to a rabbit?

Terrement: "PS just looked at the other linked art – the size of the mouth is not apparent in the B&W pic on TMP"

This B&W one here?

I wonder if an attack by a group of those alien rabbits (if done as 4 foot tall) would in any way be similar to being attacked by a flock of these small terror birds:

I'd probably laugh the whole time the chicken-like creatures were running up to me, right up to the moment they start tearing into me.

This one also doesn't seem to have any functional-looking forelimbs:

Makes the Vorpal Bunny of Doom look timid. :-)

Just add a pair of mean eyes and two pairs of dangling ears and they remind me a little of the bipedal mutant graboids in Tremors 2 (called "shriekers"):

A couple of additional scene clips from that cheesy T2 film (with the Shriekers):

That's right!!!

But, in this case, they would really look mean and scary:

Though pink can be scary too, when it's this big:

Those are creepy looking rabbits.

Where did you find these… things?

Cacique Caribe09 May 2012 9:43 a.m. PST

I was looking for something else entirely in Google Image, and that was one of the images that popped up.

I had no choice but to follow the rabbit and check out where it led to.

I don't think I will ever watch watershipdown in the same way ever again! But how cool are they!

Rottenlead09 May 2012 12:37 p.m. PST

I was hunting for Monty Python quotes but could not find one. Here goes

"Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!"

Looks great though, I like to see some interesting Fauna ready to cause some random pain on the battlefield.

These are pretty creepy, if you ask me:

Even so, they might make for cool little monster critters.

How about these 'Muccins' from the Zombismith A7D12 range $12 USD get you 20 of them in four different poses, they are dead ringers for those creatures from Tremors.

Wasn't aware that there was enough left of the rabbit to investigate after you thump it with .308!

Timmy, fetch me my brown hunting shorts!

I guess that long, rabbit-like ears can make a lot of things look really creepy:

Of course, the vampire bat nose adds a lot to it too.
