I'd suggest watching Zardoz too many times can do terrible things to the mind.

To All (including the esteemed Editor),

Happy Zardoz Day. To think when I first saw this movie over 30 years ago that we would be still talking about it is amazing, but that's just the way classics are: Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind, Barbarella, Zardoz. If you haven't seen it, be forewarned, you can only take so much goodness in one sitting, buy the video and enjoy one of the films that Sean Connery never admits to making (BTW that should be a clue about the film). Guns for All and All for Guns.

Shouldn't this sort of thread be ONLY on Utter Drivel? Yes, it should….

Sargonarhes06 Feb 2012 5:51 p.m. PST

Ooooooooooooooooooooookay.

Reminds me of the thread where some one asked if we knew what Zardoz and the Rock Horror Picture Show had in common.

flooglestreet06 Feb 2012 7:13 p.m. PST

OK, what do Zardoz and the Rocky Horror Picture Show have in common?

Sargonarhes06 Feb 2012 7:36 p.m. PST

Here, I found the thread from back in April of 2006.

Au Contraire! He has stated on occasion that he took that role to escape forever playing the sexy spy. I don't remember what role he said they offered him, but it was just James Bond with a different name.

Security Minister Critter 1, doesn't mean a thing.

Sam Neill proudly admits to being in OBSESSION and that it is the project he is most pleased to have been in. . .
