The Austrian grenadier battalions were formed by stripping the grenadier companies from the regular line regiments and converging them into battalions. I'm assuming that the grenadiers would have the same facing and button colors as their parent regiments. So the grenadier battalions would have a mixture of facing colors, correct? |
