Any one got pics of the insides of their 15mm star ships? I have an Old Star wars Rebel transport that I used as a 28mm light freighter. But having moved to 15mm I am planning to convert the interior to 15mm. This will be big enough to have a small game inside as I it will be at least two decks high. I have bought some stuff to redo the ship but cannot find 15mm bits to make up a bridge. Anyone know of a 15mm bridge set thats available? And if you have done the same thing do you have any pictures. NOt into paper terrain. Cheers Tony |

Tony what about using Legos? Cut the base board to fit within your ship
And then use the smaller bits and pieces to fit your interior
coat of plastic paint, decals, etc. (like the bottom row x4 x6 x8)
160 special bits seen here
tons of potential link Just a thought
easy to get hold of, you could move them around, easy to build, etc. |

Shave or sand off the top nubs to gain a smooth surface. |

Look into Star Wars Micromachine and Action Fleet Playsets for bits. You might be able to find some bits if you buy incomplete sets. rebelscum.com/mmplay.asp link I'd also look at the Star Trek TNG Innerspace sets. They are pretty much the Trek branded Knockoff of the SW Action fleet and while they're I think closer to 20mm they might still be useful for bits. link Though I'd also take a look at Khurasan's interior sets
linkOne thing to keep in mind though, don't totally discard the idea of using Paper as a material. For the controls and details you could probably make good use of Semi-gloss sticker paper as a surface, and even if you don't, its a good shortcut for doing detailed screens. link These might work as wall mounted consoles. And some of these might be usable: link |

I agree with psychosama
don't discard the idea of using paper
its cheap and can be customized per scale and effects. I am building massive table top size ship using 2D paper tiles (there are tons of spaceship themed available as free downloads on the Internet) mounted on foamcore mounted on magnetic tape that adheres to approx. one by two foot bases. For 'walls' I am using thin strips of 2mm black adhesive foam, which give a slight edge to the sides of the hallways and rooms. The thing with the magnets is that it allows you to 'flip' areas of the ship and keep them out of view until players come within LOS or scanner distance. Also keeps the tiles in place Plan on putting together a combination dungeon crawl/Space Hulk type game in 15mm. Later I can easily convert it to Hadley's Hope on LV426 by simply moving some bases around Got hooked on 15mm sci fi (again) after seeing all of the cool postings on TMP as well as those awesome Khurasan minis. Got some Garn and Ursids, next plan to pick up a ton of those fantastic space demons and some federal marines |

28mmMan Giant chicken marker – the best thing to ever come out of Jim's Lab at Litko! Just to prove that futuristic "art" can be as bad as some of today's. Andrew |

I've seen people do some neat stuff inside of pizza carryout boxes. They work great as an outer shell, and fold up nicely for carrying. |
