Actually Grognard1789's blog TMP link reminds me of one of the better ones:
"Ive never seen guns move so smoothly

Moves his cannon with the lightness of a pistol"

Maxshadow20 Nov 2011 6:05 a.m. PST

Yes and after the first cannon shot. "Well thats got the ball started"
What an enjoyable movie.

After 40 years, with all the glaring inaccuracies, it is still unsurpassed.

I have just wasted a morning when I should have been billing clients watching Grognard's youtube clips.

"Good beans Wellington"
"If there is one thing I know absolutely nothing about sir, it is agriculture"

I never could understand what the 'ell they were talking about. What's with the beans thing? No seriously, someone please explain this line to me.

My favorite scene is with Wellington and the private who has stolen the chicken:

By God, I love a man who can defend a hopeless position. Make him a corporal.

I think "agriculture" is a real Wellington quote.
Possibly "beans" is the writers way of introducing it into a battlefield scene.

As the returning Bourbons disbanded the Frech army and reraised it in legions in white uniforms as well as completely mixing up unit lineages and traditions, I believe it would be safe to say that it wasn't the French any longer.

Campbell is eating beans, he offers some to Wellington, who declines them with a slight wave of the hand.

The beans are probably what the English call Broad Beans or the Americans call Fava Beans since these are actually very pleasant to eat raw.

Hope this helps.
