Khurasan appears to have recently released a 15mm DEVGRU SEAL pack!

picture

Whether or not this means Khurasan is moving into the Moderns market remains to be seen, but in any case they're there. You get 8 guys in this pack – four regular riflemen, two riflemen with under-slung grenade launchers, a sniper and a SAW operator.

Yep. That should have been cross-posted to 15mm SF too:

WOW!

Little Big Wars06 Oct 2011 11:13 p.m. PST

Dumb question; which one is the SAW operator?

GeoffQRF07 Oct 2011 1:40 a.m. PST

3rd from the right in the top row – note the box magazine.

Wolfprophet07 Oct 2011 1:48 a.m. PST

In the top row, go right to left. He's the third one. He's got one of the cut down Para-SAWs. Firepower of a SAW without the same weight or heft. Easier to use in quick operations or urban or mountainous terrain.

will be all over these like white on rice.

I wish 15mm was 6mm .. :'(

Ron W DuBray07 Oct 2011 5:46 a.m. PST

and I wish it was 28mm

The one with the really scary gun… oh, wait… SEALS… never mind.

See these and I really have to fight to resist the urge to get into modern.

SpaceJacker07 Oct 2011 7:36 a.m. PST

Wow! These are great!

SpaceJacker07 Oct 2011 8:55 a.m. PST

I was waiting for Thuloid space riflemen, but this pushed me into another order! (Plus finally caving in and ordering control batallion and Exterminators, gangsters etc. as well)

There goes my "no more metal until I've painted what I have" oath for the nth time.

Stealth100007 Oct 2011 10:14 a.m. PST

Friken awesome.

Little Big Wars07 Oct 2011 11:32 a.m. PST

Thanks for the help… I'm not used to identifying modern weapons, and the SAW doesn't really stick out unless you know what to look for. In game terms I'm not sure if I'll count it as a SAW or not, but considering how well-armed occupants of Janitorian cities tend to be, it may well be worth it for the SWAT to have SAW-carrying potential.

Barks107 Oct 2011 2:54 p.m. PST

Sweet!

These will make good hi-tech troops for hard scifi settings. So many things on their guns that they look like "space guns" at that scale.

Ordered two packs the other day. If these are anything like the Exterminators they're going to be sensational figures.

And if I read that original Khurusan text in the linked post correctly they're doing SASR – which I keep thinking is the jargon for British one, but it turns out it's the Australian one. Truly we live in a 15mm golden age.

"Thanks for the help… I'm not used to identifying modern weapons, and the SAW doesn't really stick out unless you know what to look for."

To be fair LBW, they are carrying modern weapons that :
1. Hardly anyone but them uses.
2. Are heavily modified after the first fact.

So, it's fine to botch the ID process. :) After all, everyone and their grandmother produces their own version of the AR-15 family rifles now and most of them are better than the M16, but come with the price tag to show how much extra care was taken in assembly and parts manufacture. That's why only units like the SEALs can afford the HK416 and HK417.

"And if I read that original Khurusan text in the linked post correctly they're doing SASR…" thumbs up

No emoticon for beating one's head against a wall though. My poor credit card……………..

Exterminators, Space Demons, SEALs, SAS(R). Going to be a dangerous walk down those Litko Mini Corridors. What a year.

I echo the suggestion of some who think figures in diving gear would be a plus.

Credit card just took the hit, because when going over to the site, I found the Red eagle/banner etc tank was listed. I thought it had been withdrawn from the list, till I saw it today. I was going to check if it was one of those things affected by the downtime, but there it was. Result, Seal team and Tanks ordered. So thats the scout team of a new SF low tech force on the way with some armour for them to worry about or take out.

Thinks about starting a "spawn of the devil" title for those manufacturers who make far too good looking kit.

McWong7314 Oct 2011 5:55 a.m. PST

I got the SEALS today. They're every bit as good as they look.

TeknoMerk14 Oct 2011 1:29 p.m. PST

Nice SEAL squad. That is a must for my wish list.
