"Signup for 15mm scifi mini exchange" Topic

here is the place to sign up for the 15mm scifi mini exchange.
This sign up will start today,june 20th and will end midnight of july 4th. On july 5th , no more signups will be accepted, and I will email all participants the addresses for mailing off their exchanges. This will be done randomly, so no one will be able to pick who they are sending to or receiving from. As well no requests for "what i would like to receive " will be honored.
I would like for all mailings to be completed no later than July 18th. All attempts will be made to match you up with someone from your region, should you request as much in your sign up.
The rules: This exchange involves sending out a 5 man team/squad of 15 mm, painted (basing optional) scifi,future,post apocalyptic, or near future miniatures. You will get the same in return. This could be a coherent, uniform squad of any race, or it can be a mixed mercenary type of unit. the bare minimum is 5 average humanoid sized 15mm minis. if you want to include some oversized( think ogryns/super mutants) that is up to you.
This can be minis painted just for this exchange or a squad long ago finished and collecting dust, but either way try to make it something you are proud of. As well it could be stock miniatures,lightly to heavily converted, all the way to original sculpts(for the over achievers). a brief note to the recipient may be a nice touch if you are sending obscure stuff.
While there is no guarantee that you will receive something up to your painting standard, I think it will be a fun way to expand your forces , and possibly enlarge your horizons.

An interesting aspect of this project…I have been cruising the waters of TMP science fiction for some time now, and yet the project has drawn out TMPers I do not recognize, which is fun.

It is going to be quite the family photo(s) once all the shipments have been sent/received…seeing what everyone got :)

well, as far as i can detect we have 25 active participants.

after I randomize address's, i will pm or email the info to you( I may randomize a few with restrictions early)
remember the plan is to ship out as soon as you get your assigned address, but no later than july 18th, hopefully

Well we have 26 participants, and I have randomized everyone.

If at least 2 people sign up tomorrow,I will add you in until midnite July 4th.
Once you receive the address we would like for all minis to be mailed out by July 18 th.
In a few days I will start a post entitled finished 15mm scifi mini exchange….to which you are encouraged to post pics of what you received along with a short description of their intended use

I would be willing to do another set if you end up with an odd number. No restrictions on mailing either.
