Niska's Skyplex was seen in two Firefly episodes (The Train Job, and War Stories). It became part of a nice firefight in War Stories.

QUESTION:

Would it be simply a series of concentric circles for each level?

Thanks,

Dan

You'd probably have to use some of that math we been hearin' so much about.

We know it has a very deep and open central core, othwerwise there'd be noplace to throw henchmen.

I'd say that a series of concentric circles is a good starting point for that large dish, so long as you have a big cargo offload area in at least one of the 6 segments.

At a guess, I'd say that main disk has 6 segments, and multiple floors within, so you might have a couple of upper floor catwalk segments.

There are also "other" floors that are probably outside the scope of a wargaming scenario… Niskou's office/freezer which can see down into the central core… the dungeon in the level below the main disk (No idea why I think it's there… I guess I just like my dungeons lower than the rest of the ship.)

^ There's a couple of levels of deck plan from the Enterprise… Looks like they opted to cut up most of their concentric levels into rooms. Perhaps not the worst starting point.

PygmaelionAgain,

Excellent points. And the comparison to an Enterprise ship deck plan is perfect!

Thanks so much,

Dan
