Chewks are little desert dwelling shrimpmen, a sort of wee bedouin crustacean. We've made them in 15mm and are previewing the paintups of the models on our blog: link |

Those look great Jon. I like the weapons teams, but it does seem one of the mortar teams is engaging an enemy to the rest of the units rear . . . . :) I also like that mounted heavy MG no longer looks like a WWII German weapon. Now, the only question is can I resist the vehicles long enough to wait to order these . . . . . Jeff |

Those guys are fun
will they also get a large boxy vehicle to cross the deserts? |
khurasanminiatures | 18 Apr 2011 8:06 p.m. PST |
Why I have no idea what you are referring to! They have a tank that travels under the deserts -- including to hidden subterranean water basins that only they know exist, where they spawn

Finally! After so much premature "counting of (and announcing)chewkins before they hatch". So, are we looking at three weeks then, before we can finally get them? Dan TMP link |

Someone make him stop. I don't need another scale. For the love of God, stop! Xin |

Is it me or do they have bolt-action lazer rifles. |

Y'know what they also look like with that paint scheme? Tonberries. link |

Aw, c'mon, I like the paint scheme! Makes them look less crustacean-like. Dan |

love these guys, might have to scratch build a box on tracks, lovely. |
Little Big Wars | 18 Apr 2011 11:04 p.m. PST |
I didn't say it was a bad thing
Tonberries are awesome! |

Very cool! The Micro Machines Action Fleet Sandcrawler might be perfect for these guys. Looks like they average $15-$25 each on eBay. Chris |

Leave them out in the sun long enough and they make their own delicious appetiser. |
J Womack 94 | 19 Apr 2011 10:20 a.m. PST |
They taste better wrapped in bacon and grilled. |

Those are adorable. Any chance I could see one next to a 10mm figure, Mechwarrior miniature of some kind, or even a ruler?. I don't play 15mm, but I could use some cute aliens for my Rebased Mechwarrior gaming in 10mm/N Scale. |

Porfirio: "they make their own delicious appetiser." Eww. Where does it come out of? :) Dan |

-Cringes.- Tonberries
.. One that's unarmed is bad enough
now you give them small arms, field guns, light artillery and tanks
Madness I declare
Madness! |
khurasanminiatures | 20 Apr 2011 10:54 a.m. PST |
I'd never even heard on tonberries before! It's funny that I sent painting specs to the painter that exactly duplicated them
on small models wearing hooded cloaks no less! What are the chances? |
