I got the rules for Christmas and I am considering using 15mm figures and terrain. Anyone else out there doing this? Wondering how the game looks in 15mm?

It looks twice as good in 15mm. Ranges look right, I've played it twice and I prefer it to 25/28mm.

It is definitely something I want to get into later next year. Already got the rules. Blue Moon figures are what I want to use.

Great idea! Now I have ANOTHER project to get into…bah, humbug!

Dan, some Blue Moon 15mm Civilians and Buildings are featured in this image:

The figures are excellent, and compatible in size with AB and Old Glory. Their 15mm buildings have lift-off roofs, but are a little larger than most other 15mm scale brands. I consider the buildings to be more like HO train size.

Interesting. I was thinking of running some South American games in 15mm using the Alamo supplement. I figure they're a good set for introducing and bringing new people into the period.

The buildings were made just a hair larger so the figures could actually be put in them and used.

I think it would be great with the company rules.

Minds made up now. 15mm it is.

Russ,

Beautiful stuff, the Blue Moon 15's. So, when do we get our "Darkest Africa" range from Blue Moon? Come on, you know you want to – and we need it!
Don't believe me, ask smokeyroan. It's a perfect fit with what you are doing in this range. And in the WWI, how about everything for German East Africa? That would fit nice with those Colonials you are going to do, that "Darkest Africa" stuff you are now busily planning. (I can dream, or maybe its my New Years wish.) May the rumor spread so far and fast that not doing is a hazard…

I just put it on the list of things to do, A nice little dark africa range sounds really neat along with 4 or 5 tribes with their own style of huts? ACW and AWI is well under way --massive releases in Jan --then Napoleonics and smaller ranges interspersed. The steets of Chicago, horror complete with Draculas castle ,Transylvanian village and the steets of London, more sci-fi,and more WW1 just to name a few.

Way cool, Russ, money being saved as of now. By the way, I have I think all of the old west figures and all of the pirate figures (multiples in some cases) and will probably get a smattering of the French and Indian War stuff (already have a huge collection for the period, mostly painted). Streets of Chicago? Again, cool. London? Yeah, baby. WWI Africa? Hoping, hoping.

Can someone check on smokey – I worry he may have fainted when he read this far into the thread. : ) That 4 or 5 tribes. Woo-hoo!

"The steets of Chicago, horror complete with Draculas castle ,Transylvanian village and the steets of London"

I wonder what kind of omen it is for the upcoming year if one starts it with drooling because of new miniature ranges planned :D

That's the style! Been building terrain and various figures for Chaos in Cairo/Carpathia, Darkest Africa and various pulp/horror gaming in 15mm for a while, and waiting for principle figures to hit the market.

Just so obvious a choice to move to 15, since I have a rather large Colonial set up, and it's all interchangeable.

Even built up a horde of Colonial zombies (various civilians, natives, Mahdists, Brits and Egyptians, etc. Will be fun to have mummies and zombies pop up in the middle of a TSATF game)

Long overdue:

Glad I converted now this last year and not been waiting decades.

Any rough idea on when the horror themed stuff will be coming out? Need to know when to start saving my $$$ :)
