While reading this post TMP link by Cacique Caribe I was inspired by idea of sculpting REAL aliens. So is there any close encounter Third kind ufo database in the net? I want to try sculpt some of these aliens in 15mm.
PS. Does not matter if there actually a real aliens or these contacters tell lie. Lets ufologist think about it :)

I'm sure the various governments have them, but of course they will deny it until the little green men/women/creatures are ready for prime-time news coverage.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider making these for 15mm (about 12mm high), from the Hopkinsville descriptions:

I REALLY love these other little ones too:

PS. I don't particularly care the one described in the Flatwoods incident, but here it is:

As for databases of CE3s, here is a good starting point:

PS. Seems like Earth is the premier vacation destination for all alien types:

Most of the descriptions you'll find are simply variations on a theme. Bipedal, grey, insect eyes. So many frauds it's hard to tell. There are a few cases which are extremely compelling, such as the Ariel primary school in Zimbabwe, which involved a mass encounter, communication and a subsequent stampede of screaming children whom the adults ignored…

2 Cacique Caribe I REALLY REALLY WANT TO MAKE THESE GOBLINS! I'll start tomorrow. By the way, I have book "Monsters, Ghosts and Ufo" and there are AMAZING art of these goblins! Here it is (sorry, but my version in russian, but original is in english. Sadly I dont know book name in eglish. I only know that its from 1971)

What variants of Goblin do you want? If its real alien, there surely must be unarmed version and goblin with some kind of ufo pda.

Here's another UFO site.

Thanx to all for links. I've already made a body for goblin and finishing head. I think there will be 3 version of goblin – all unarmed (we are playing Kelly–Hopkinsville encounter not an alien invasion), but other versions (with weapons and science gadgets are still possible).

I really want to make some of aliens from these websites. For example this pics give a lot of inspiration :)

As much as I like the Hopkinsville Goblins, these other ones would sell A LOT MORE . . .

As you can see, the extraterrestrial hairy dwarf concept predates Star Wars by about two decades. So making little furry aliens, with or without weapons, is perfectly safe.

Just call them "Littlefoots".

Dan
PS. These "feral" X-Files Greys would also be big sellers, and they don't need any weapons other than their sharp claws:

I really like the little hairy dude, third from top left:

Goblin is nearly finished. I only need to finish hands and legs. Its 12mm tall, with thin legs and arms. Design based on this picture with description.

My early idea was to create 3 unarmed versions, but this little Bleeped text is SO tricky to sculpt, so I made only 1 version.
BUT
His hands are thin so in metal it will be very easy to make different poses just by bending his arms.

Awesome!

Can't wait to see pics of what the green looks like so far.

This would be cool also, at 12mm in height:

They would be like a hairy version of the Galaxy Quest Minors/Miners:

SirFjodin,

If it's not too late . . . Could you make the "Goblins" with a slight bend at the knees?

Thanks,

Dan

DAMN! I've finished sculpt and was unsatisfied with result. So I've destroyed it.
Now I am at the beggining. Because of this "DAMNED AND LET IT BURN IN HELL" University my sculpting progress is to slow :(

2 Cacique Caribe
Could you please provide a picture?

SirFjodin19 Oct 2010 8:06 p.m. PST

Well, next version of goblin are on the way. Hope to finish it and provide photo the day after tomorrow. Also I am making a Dover Demon wich have finished head and body, but no hands and legs are finished yet.

SirFjodin,

Can't wait to see the photos of those "Goblins"!

Dan

SirFjodin20 Oct 2010 4:25 a.m. PST

Lets do like this. I've allready made a head and body and tomorow (its 22:33 in Sydney now) I made a photo of this legless (and handless) body and post them.
