Does anybody know of any company that makes stuff that looks like 15mm bricks or similar detritus for spreading around urban scenery? I am about to start running some Stalingrad games and I would love to have some nice rubble to spread all around my destroyed buildings. I THINK I've seen it sold for 28mm games but I can't even find that! Bad Google Fu day, I guess
Thanks for any help! |

Oops, my Fu is a bit better than I thought. I found info about Juweela in Germany. Looks like just the thing. |

Naz, Here ya go: TMP link TMP link I love those Juweela bricks. And the service was phenomenal. The search for the right brick source took so long that, by the time I found Juweela, my down time was coming to an end. Now I can't wait for a decent stretch off, so I can sit down and make the debris pieces I had in mind all along. If you order from Juweela, please give Till a big hello. Dan |

Doug at BTC has a technique for creating brick scatter, but not sure if he still offers the material for retail sale. Suggest you contact him directly. |

I use my spare bits of cork sheet (the thin rolled stuff) to make brick clutter. I use a paper cutter (I forget what it is called, but its the sort with machete-style arm) to cut thin strips of the cork sheet that are then cut into individual bricks. The trick is to not be too neat about it. Get a handful of the thin strips of cork and run them back through the paper cutter or snip with scissors. Some of the cork will crumble but that is a selling feature of this method. You just collect all the cork, clean and crumbled and use it all together as brick scatter. |
