Any "how to" sites for dummies out there? I've never tried it but hear its not as dif as it sounds.

What's hard? Cut. Drill. Pin. Glue. As long as there is no obstruction (long, flowing Spartan locks from under the helmet), there should be no problem, and I rarely need to do any filling or putting to conceal the joint.

Easier, of course, when separate heads (Peter Pig, Battlefront) can be used: one less hole to drill and no pinning.

U lost me at "pin".

PP separate heads does sound a good way 2 go tho.

OK: redo "drill"and following.

Drill hole in neck of body. Drill hole in neck of head. Fit a little teeny tiny short section of brass rod that matches the drill diameter into the two holes to hold them together.

It's not that hard. Honest. It's kind of therapeuitic, IMO.

Unfortunately, the things I find therapeutic, most people seem to find really boring…

Not for me. I'll just buy a 15mm fig that has the right head. In this day and age you can get almost anything.

Oh, yeah? Show me who makes a centaur wearing a Red Army shlem. Or a nekkid Amazon wearing a pickelhaube. Huh? Huh?

Pinning is not necessary with PP heads as they are cast with a spike neck (at least all the Moderns ones I used were).
QRF or such body, cut off head, file to flatten anything left to collar level, drill short hole, 2mm or so is enough. Cut PP head neck spike to size and fix with tiny drop of superglue.

Cut, swap, superglue, little green stuff for the hair or beard or neck repair.

Add boobies and make a sex change if your want to do surgery too.

TW, why do I get the impression all your figures have beards and boobies…?

Except for former Soviet Block countries who use Ak weapons with Fritz (Nato) helmets…at least not yet they dont.

Thatnks all for input. Ill be giving it a try with some Peter Pig AK-47 blokes with transplanted Fritz helmeted heads as Poles.
