OK, so with all those shiny new heads from GZG, I had a bit of an idea. I was thinking of adding said GZG sci-fi heads to historical figure types, maybe some Renasaince or ACW. I can trim the muskets to make them look a little "future" and add power cables from the stock to the cartridge pouch for a power pack… does this idea hold water to show differing uniforms across thousands of colonized worlds, or just a sad attempt at variety?

The heads are very nice I just got both sets today(minus one head that was only a small blob of lead on the spru) I will attempt some swaps but they are so small.

Bandit86: if you have a miscast sprue that you'd like replaced, please contact me directly at jonATgzgDOTcom.

The 15mm headswaps are actually very easy to do – see here for some notes on how to do it:

It's not a bad idea necessarily if you are aiming to game a "retro/anachronistic" universe @ Warzone, Wh40k or even Defiance: Vital Ground. A lot of people have "been there, done that" I suppose but it's no reason not to do it yourself if that's the look you're after.

Mostly I was thinking that in the "Traveller" setting, there are literally thousands of worlds, each with their own fashions and ideas. I figure some "old historical" uniforms with sci-fi heads and "modernized" colors might just kook different enough to be passable.

Thank you for all of the support!
